The Chartered Institute of Building announced the 15 finalists for its annual Art of Building Photographer of the Year Award. The international competition showcases the work of both professional and amateur photographers who have captured the nuances of built environments around the world. A panel of judges selected the finalists from thousands of entries, considering qualities such as creativity, composition, lighting, and relevancy, and now it’s up to the public to choose the winning image. Among those on the short list are a Buddhist settlement in Tibet, men and women working in a brick field in India, and a colorful Moorish castle.
